Virginia "Ginny" Baartz

Virginia “Ginny” Baartz, 64, of Zion, passed away June 21, 2025, at home. She was born on September 15, 1960, in Waukegan to Richard and Ellen (Jefson) Andersen.

Ginny is survived by her loving sons, Tyler Baartz and Shane Baartz; her siblings, Ron (Elizabeth) Andersen, Linda (Norm) Varner and Ricky Andersen; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Judy (Ronald) Voss; and her brother, Donnie Andersen.

Ginny spent her entire career as a deli clerk, working at various places throughout Lake County. Her greatest joy and love in life was spending time with her sons. We will always love and miss her dearly.
