Tina Marie Cartwright

Tina Marie Cartwright, 64, of Beach Park, passed away peacefully January 8, 2026, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born October 11, 1961, at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, to the late Kenneth Eugene and Barbara (Reinoehl) Roediger. On June 12, 1982, in her in-laws backyard in Zion, IL, Tina married the love of her life, Thomas Lyle Cartwright.

Tina worked for more than 40 years as a bus driver (she loved her job) for Laidlaw first, and then Zion-Benton Township. She was an active person, enjoying many adventures with her husband and family including canoeing, hot air balloon rides, and zip-lining many times. Tina was a compassionate person, and very supportive of so many people.

She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Patricia "Trish" (Ricky) Cartwright-Moya; stepdaughter, Lucinda "Cindy" Sanders; grandchildren, Bailey (Laura) Eddy, Brooklyn (Lesther) Chua, Brayson Sanders, Bella Sanders, and Lucy Cartwright; great granddaughter, Olive Chua; sister, Carolyn (Steve) Olsen; brothers, Ken (Cindy) Roediger and Timothy Roediger; sisters-in-law, Barb Varsek and Jill (Ken) Turman; nieces and nephews, David Roediger, Diana (Gordon) Pullar, Sherri Jo (Dan) Ballard, Chris (Rachel) Varsek, Dyanna (Cody) Uchiek; and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Tom; son, Michael Patrick Cartwright; and brother-in-law, Vince Varsek.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 12-4pm, at Birchwood Grill, 7515 - 125th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53142.
