Thomas L. Fox

Thomas L. Fox, 71, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at The Grove of Northbrook. He was born November 22, 1946 in Waukegan to Leonard and Velda (Dingman) Fox. On November 15, 1975 in Waukegan, Tom married Mary L. Woodward. Tom was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waukegan for more than 30 years. He worked at OMC in Waukegan for 35 years, retiring in 2000, then worked for 10 years at Jewel in Gurnee. Tom was a coin collector, an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan; Ron Santos was his favorite Cubs player. He and Mary enjoyed trips to Vegas and liked to play craps. Tom is survived by his wife, Mary L. Fox; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sieglinde Woodward and Martin Yunker; brother-in-law, Roger Woodward; grandchildren, Terrance (Annabelle), Angelica, Adriana, Nathaniel and Anastasia. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved daughter, Patricia Fox, and brother, John Allen Fox. Funeral services are Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00am at Highland Memorial Park, 33100 N. Hunt Club Rd., Libertyville, IL with a gathering from 10:00am until 11:00am (meet in the Mausoleum at the cemetery) with Pastor Janet Volk officiating from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waukegan. Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tom's family in care of his wife, Mary Fox.
