Tara Jean McKinney Garcia, 47, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born May 3, 1972, in Haverhill, New Hampshire. In December 1992, Tara married Eddy Garcia. Tara is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Eddy; children, Casey McKinney (Andrew Harper), Kyle Garcia (Sydney Shook), Amber Garcia (Joseph Laurich) and Caitlin Garcia; parents, Bruce and Linda (Page) McKinney; mother-in-law, Maria N. Garcia; paternal grandfather, Lee McKinney; grandchildren, Mia McKinney, Raine McKinney, Sophie Garcia, Logan Kramer, Jr., Levi Garcia, and Serayla Laurich; brother, Sean McKinney; sister, Erin (Kevin) Grosch; nieces and nephews, Cheyenne McKinney, Madison Grosch, Kylee Grosch, Hunter Grosch, and Savannah Grosch; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many more extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Teodoro Garcia; maternal grandparents, Frank and Rose Page; paternal grandmother, Margaret McKinney, and granddaughter, Haley Garcia. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 2pm-6pm at The Moose Lodge, 26020 W. IL Route 173, Antioch, IL. Interment will be private.
