Susan Elizabeth Rakow Packer, 49, of Wadsworth went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 1, 1968 in West Allis, WI. On June 5, 2004 in West Allis, Susan married the love of her life, Jeremy Charles Lincoln Packer. Susan was an Alumna of Indiana University, and studied in Bologna, Italy. She was a member of Gurnee Community Church, and will always be remembered as a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ. Susan leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 13 years, Jeremy; one son, Erich George Rakow Packer; mother, Billie Joan Rakow of The Villages, FL; sister, Tricia Christine (John) Totty of Memphis, TN; mother-in-law, Nan Packer of Amesbury, England; brother-in-law, Timothy (Moira) Packer of Salisbury, England; four nieces, Emily Totty, Allison Totty, Sophie Packer and Katie Packer; aunts, Nancy (Richard) Matschke of Summerfield, FL, LuAnn (Gary) Brown of Oak Creek, WI, Sandra (John) Blott of Mukwonago, WI, and Patti Kuehl of Bonita Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her father, Randall Erich Gary Rakow; father-in-law, John Packer, and uncle and aunt, Tom and Kitty Kuehl. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 5-7pm at Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 7pm following the visitation at church with Pastor Brian K. Walter officiating. A private family interment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.
