Stephen "Steve" L. Haas

Stephen "Steve" L. Haas, 65, of Gurnee, IL passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Eleanor; father, John; brother, Robert; grandparents; and aunt. He is survived by his daughter, Holli (Tom) Thoren; grandson, Thomas; and brother, Michael. Steve was a loving and supportive husband, father, father-in-law, brother, and son. Most of all he was a proud and doting grandfather to his grandson, Thomas, his pride and joy. Dad, praying you had a joyous reunion with Mom. You forever will be always in our hearts.

A private service will be held for family. Due to the unexpected death of their loved one, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting financial assistance with final expenses. Donations may be made payable and mailed to his daughter, Holli Thoren, 1380 Pauly Dr., #308, Gurnee, IL 60031.
