Stephanie Sylvia Brooks

Stephanie Sylvia Brooks, 70, of Waukegan, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2021, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on March 2, 1950, in Chicago, to the late Louis and Jeanette (Arnold) Fitzgerald. On June 1, 1978, Stephanie married the love of her life, Emile "Joe" Brooks. Stephanie leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 43 years, Joe Brooks; one daughter, Kelly (Don Barnes) Brooks; one sister, Michelle Spurlock; three grandchildren, Christopher Brooks, Lisa Barnes, and Donovan Barnes. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 1529 Elizabeth Avenue, North Chicago, IL 60064.
