Sharon Felt Obituary

Sharon Renee Felt, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025.  She was born on Sunday, March 1, 1942, in Chicago to the late Eugene and Dolores (Hallas) Gallowich.

Sharon spent half her working career as a stationary supply sales person, and the other half as a receptionist and phone operator at Whitehall of Deerfield.  Sharon also had many talents.  She enjoyed wood working, building things out of wood for craft fairs.  She was a seamstress and made little dolls and puppets for fun.  She was an amazing artist and painted works of art, which she displayed proudly.  She was also very musically talented, playing the organ, piano, keyboards, accordion and the famous Boombass one man band.  She had an amazing singing voice.  She was also known for being super friendly and being goofy and fun.  She had a knack for remembering people’s names and was a people person, above all else she was a great mom, sister, Grandmother and most recently a Great Grandmother.  She will be remembered for all these wonderful traits and will live on in all our hearts and memories.  Love and miss you Mom.

Sharon is survived by her loving sons, Robert (Kathy) Felt and James (Julie) Felt; grandson, Trevor (Makena Creekmore) Felt; great granddaughter, Layla Creekmore Felt; sister, Susie (Peter) Mogdans; nephew, Brian (Nina) Mogdans; niece, Amy (Lee) Ferree; and her former husband, friend, and his wife, John (Arlene) Felt.
