Roy Eugene Jenkins III

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Roy Eugene Jenkins III, 52, who passed away unexpectedly October 25, 2025. Roy was born November 7, 1972, to the late Roy Eugene, Jr. and Joyce Elizabeth (Stewart) Jenkins.

Roy could troubleshoot technological issues with his eyes closed.  He was known for his ability to fix the unfixable, his skills playing Galaga. and the cans of Mountain Dew he consumed with devotion.

Away from the glow of computer screens, Roy Jenkins' true passion was speed. A self-taught engineer, he designed and built cars that perfectly mirrored his personality: powerful, and utterly unique. He lived life in the fast lane and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Roy is survived by one son, Timothy Jenkins; two stepchildren, David Wilkerson and Ashley Kostner; four brothers, Michael Jenkins, Eric Gregory, Jerry Gregory, John Gregory; and many grandchildren.

Services and interment are private.
