Robert “Bob” Monroe Leach, 68, of Beach Park, passed away peacefully Jan. 4, 2019, at home. He was born Feb. 2, 1950, in Camp Douglas, WI to the late Monroe and Elaine (Hendricks) Leach. On Sept. 1, 2001, Bob married Barbara Means. Bob graduated from Waukegan High School in 1968, was a proud Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam from 1968-1972, and an electrician for more than 30 years at IBEW Local 150. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Leach; mother, Elaine Leach; daughters, Anna Cornejo, Kelly (Jeff) Long, Erin and Bethany Leach; grandchildren, Abigail, Madelyn, Emma, Olivia, Quinn and Gavin; sister, Pam (Jim) Miller; brother, Ron (Sharon) Leach; sister-in-law, Carol (Brian) Friday; five nieces and nephews, and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his father, and infant daughter, Breanne Leach. A celebration of his life is pending for in the Spring of 2019. Interment will be private.
