Richard Anthony Conaway

Richard Anthony Conaway, 72, a longtime resident of Zion, passed away June 25, 2024. He was born June 25, 1952, in Superior, WI to the late James and Elizabeth (Slagoski) Conaway.

Rich was a proud Army Veteran. He was a Zion Police Officer from 1975-1982, then working and retiring from Sodexo in North Chicago in 2022, after many years of service. Rich was a car enthusiast, enjoyed traveling, and most of all, loved his dogs.

Rich is survived by his brothers, Andre (Jean) Conaway and James Conaway; the Stark family; and many close friends. In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kristine Conaway.
