Peter S. Debellis

Peter S. Debellis, 86, a longtime resident of Waukegan, passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 4, 2023. He was born April 1, 1936, in Chicago to the late Vito and Rose (Pinio) Debellis. Peter was a proud Army Veteran. He worked for many years at Illinois Bell. 

Peter is survived by his loving son and best friend, Darrin Debellis; daughter, Danene (Bill) Shannon; two grandchildren, Jason and Rachel Shannon; sister, Joanne (John) Barton; brother, Joe Palmisano; and many nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will take place Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5pm to 10pm at Jesters, 1500 N. Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, IL. Interment will be private at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery in Highwood, IL with Army Military Funeral Honors.
