Patricia J. Morgan

Patricia J. Morgan (nee, Bush) took hold of Jesus’ hand on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 86, surrounded by her family.  Pat grew up in Monticello, Indiana, where she had fun working at her Dad’s homemade custard stand.  She and her brother also ran their own business selling crickets to the fisherman on Lake Shafer.  Pat went on to attend International Business College in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she met the love of her life, Tom Morgan.  The two married on March 27, 1955, and started a family.  At the age of 25, Pat was mother to 4 daughters and a son who passed away on the day of his birth.  While Tom led a distinguished career in Architectural Hardware to support their family, Pat cherished her role as mother, grandmother and homemaker. 

Pat’s social circles included her love for golf and bridge.  Her kind-hearted spirit made her a confidant, friend and dear neighbor.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Morgan; son, Tommy, Jr.; granddaughter, Greta Pierce; son-in-law, Joe Forgue; parents, Roy and Josephine Bush; and brother, Charles Roger Bush.  The people left to cherish Pat include her four daughters:  Stephanie (Gary) Vogel; Cynthia Forgue; Christine Morgan; Rebecca (Mark) Stenhaug; her brother, Larry (Donna) Bush; grandchildren, nephews, in-laws, dear friends, and church family.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee, IL,  Friday, October 21, 2022. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Walter officiating.  Luncheon at Noon at the Church. A private burial will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests your prayers in this time of mourning; memorial donations are being accepted at The Gurnee Community Church.
