Naomi Sylvia Howe, 81, of Gurnee passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 16, 1938, in Waukegan to the late Victor Franc and Mae Elizabeth (Hillson) Rosenlof. On December 2, 1961, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Waukegan, Naomi married John F. Howe. Naomi is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John; five children, Erin Burza, Kelly (Paul) Maplethorpe, Sean Howe, Ryan Howe, and Shannon (Rodney) Lunkenheimer; eight grandchildren, Megan Burza, Kyle Burza, Kara Maplethorpe, Amy Maplethorpe, Scott Maplethorpe, Erik Maplethorpe, Daniel Lunkenheimer, and Sara Lunkenheimer; one great grandson, Joaquin Navarrete. In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Rosenlof. Services and interment will be held privately.
