Nancy Jean Sessoms

Nancy Jean Sessoms, 76, of Gurnee, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Autumn Leaves of Gurnee surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 8, 1942, in Chicago to the late Ralph and Lillian (Richards) Zapfel. On September 19, 1992, in Chicago, Nancy married Dewey Ray Sessoms. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Susan (Keith) Llorens, Michelle (Steve) Rouland and Cindy (Brad) Townsend; son-in-law, Dale Welk; grandchildren, Rebekah Llorens, Dr. Sarah Llorens, David Llorens, Taylor Didesch, Lauren Didesch, Private First Class Jack Didesch, and Brandi (Jason) Britt; sister-in-law, Mary Zapfel; nieces and nephews, Janis (Doug) Reeves, Jason (Amy) Zapfel, Christine (Keith) Johnson and John Hentrich. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Ray Sessoms; beloved daughter, Amy Welk, and niece, Dawn Hentrich.
