Miguel "Mike" Zarinana

Miguel "Mike" Zarinana, 47, of Gurnee, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. He was born on August 30, 1975, in Mexico to Miguel and Rosa Zarinana. On February 7, 1995, in Mexico City, Mike married the love of his life, Lety. 

Mike loved spending time with his family, and was an avid sports fan.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lety Zarinana; their three sons, Angel Zarinana, Michael Zarinana and Jesse Zarinana; parents, Miguel and Rosa Zarinana; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Marcy Zarinana; one nephew and two nieces, Erica, Victor, and Ariana Zarinana. He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Eric Zarinana; and his beloved baby son, Eric Zarinana. 

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10am, with visitation from 9am-10am, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 450 Keller Avenue,  Waukegan, with Rev. Fr. Armando Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his family to help with the cost of funeral and burial services.
