Michael Patrick Alibhai

Michael Patrick Alibhai, 32, passed away peacefully July 4, 2024, at home. He was born August 26, 1991, in Chicago.

Michael was loyal to a fault, and extremely protective of his mother, father, and sister. In his mid 20s, Michael made a major life change, becoming a wonderful, kind, and thoughtful citizen in the community. He was a great young man, who loved his family, including his cousins; everyone had a soft spot for him. Michael was also a big animal lover.

Michael is survived by his loving family; his best friend, his mother, Annette Carbonara-Alibhai; his father, Iqbal “Tony” Alibhai; his sister and brother-in-law, Ashley (Paul) Ferraz; maternal grandmother, Antoinette Carbonara; paternal grandmother, Zarina “Magi” Alladin; uncles, Patrick (Veronica “Ronnie”) Carbonara and Gregory (Jennifer) Carbonara; cousins, Gianna Carbonara, Brittany Carbonara, Linette (Alex) Busch, and Monica (Alyssa) Carbonara. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Pasquale Carbonara.
