Maurice B. Zagar, 66, of Gurnee passed away September 17, 2023. He was born May 6, 1957 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to the late John and Thelma (Charles) Zagar. On November 11, 2011, in Las Vegas, Maurice married Mary Rosendahl.
Maurice is survived by his loving family, his wife of 11 years, Mary Zagar; two brothers, Nicholas (Terri) Zagar and John (Rosemarie Johnson) Zagar; six step-children, Nicholas (Michelle) Durakis, Dawn (Kevin) Lukacek, Jim Durakis, John (Melissa) Durakis, Peter (Jessica) Rosendahl, and Mandi Rodriguez; fifteen adoring grandchildren; one great grandson; and many more extended family and friends.
