Matthew John Padour

Matthew John Padour, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 13, 2025. He was born Thursday, October 29, 1981, to John and Marya Padour. 

Matt was known for his charismatic spirit and generous heart. A loyal and devoted friend, he had a natural gift for turning friendships into family. He loved sports, especially his Chicago teams, but never hesitated to quietly support his sister’s Jayhawks. His warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed, and though his life ended too soon, his impact will remain forever. 

Matt is survived by his loving family, his parents and sister, Barbie Padour. He was preceded in death by his beloved  brother,  Pete Padour.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00 am at Santa Maria del Popolo in the Chapel, 116 N. Lake Street, Mundelein, IL. A private family Interment will be held at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, Gurnee, IL.
