Mary Jane Thorn

Mary Jane Thorn, 99, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024. She was born on April 5, 1925, in Dixon, IL to the late Wyman and Lillian (Eccles) Robins. 

Mary is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Pamela (Jeffrey) Michels; grandchildren, Sarah (Brian) Dulek, Megan Boyle, Derek Palmer, and Shelby Conrad; and great grandchildren, Kierra, Kayden, and Brantley. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her daughters, Sherwood Keyser; her second husband, Bruce Mitchell; her third husband, Warren Thorn; her beloved daughter, Sandra Conrad; and her dear grandson, Shea Conrad.

Mary was a very social person who enjoyed throwing parties, decorating everything, dancing, and playing BINGO. She was an amazing artist and poet. Mary published a children's book called "The Nose Story". In her younger years, Mary showed cats, and owned a cattery named after her daughters, called Pam-Sans Cattery.
