Joyce Marie Carter

Joyce Marie Carter, age 67, of Waukegan, formerly of Kentucky, was born on August 29, 1951, in Newport, AR, and went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL.  Joyce leaves to cherish her loving memory, her son, Traftin J. Carter; her sisters, Willie "Bonnie" Arnold and Janice Carter; brothers, Milton Carter, Jr., Bobby Carter, Clemmie Carter and Herbert Carter; aunts, Joann Ivory, Hattie P. Valentine and Elatrice Walls; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Alice (James) Carter, Sr., and her beloved sister, Peggy Runyon.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, at Jesus Name Apostolic Church, 150 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, IL. A celebration of life service will take place at 11:00 am, at the church following the visitation with Pastor John I.
