John Henry Campbell

John Henry Campbell, 71, of Trevor, WI passed away June 27, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 1, 1946 in Hardshell, KY. John is survived by his two daughters, SherryLynn Biggs and Barbara Campbell; five grandchildren, Emilyanne (Patrick) Quedenfeld, Nicholas, Brandon, Brandi and Jacquelynn; three sisters, Stella Thomas, Cora (John) Glanman and Vina Campbell; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend, Sharon Campbell; parents, Marion and Allifair (Clemons) Campbell; five daughters; five brothers, Hargus, Pearlie, Marion, Chester and Orville Campbell; five sisters, Nora Bogard, Dora Horton, Lora Fugate, Doshia Campbell, and Zollie Campbell. He joined his dear friends, Carl and Don "Chico" for a long awaited drink.

John enjoyed fishing, gardening, boating, and spending time with his family and friends. He looked forward to his weekly poker games which he played to the very end, with John, Dean and Jim. John was also an avid animal lover, leaving behind his five beloved dogs, Chopper, Hercules, Jedi, Buttercup, and Chloe.

Our family would like to give special thanks to the Vitas Hospice Team, especially John's nurse, Susan, for all the love, care and support they provided to our family.

A celebration of life for John's family will be held on July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at Centennial Park in Antioch, IL. Burial will be private.
