Jefferey D. Bye

Jefferey D. Bye, 67, of Round Lake Beach, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023, at home. He was born on October 6, 1955, in Libertyville to the late Daniel and Barbara (nee Brown) Bye.

Jeff has worked in the grocery business for 50 years. Most of his career was spent as a loyal employee of Jewel, retiring in March of 2022, after more than 35 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying the Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears.

Jeff is survived by his four siblings, Debbra (Robert) King, Gerald Bye, Susan Bye, and Kelly (Nina) Bye; ten nieces and nephews, Patience (Jason), Robert (Ronnie), Daniel (Kimberly), Jennifer (Christopher), Steven (Sally), Christopher (Jasmine), Stephanie, Curtis, Gabrielle, and Nathan; ten great nieces and great nephews; and many friends.

A private family graveside service and burial will be held at Avon Centre Cemetery in Grayslake, IL.
