James Robert Jackson

James Robert Jackson, 60, of Springfield, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, in Gurnee. He was born on February 18, 1959, in Chicago to the late Robert George and Catherine Ann (Nield) Jackson. James was a wonderful husband and father. He loved motorcycles, vintage cars, rock n roll, partying and sharing good food with friends, and was always on the lookout for Bigfoot. James is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; children, Andrew Jackson and his girlfriend, YangFei Zhou, Alexander Jackson and Caroline Jackson; stepchildren, Dustin (Taylor) Bolt, Whitney (Steve) Churchill, Sierra Moore, Phelan Parfitt, and Bruin Parfitt; step-grandchildren, Ella Bolt, Stephen, Nick, Alex, and Michael Churchill; brother, John (Angela) Jackson; sister-in-law, Gail Jackson; mother-in-law, Mona Brown; nieces, Kaitlin (Matt) Hawkins, Molly Jackson, Monica Jackson, Bethany Jackson, and lifelong friend, Nancy Harrington. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Jackson. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 3pm – 6pm at 5500 Medinah Court, Gurnee. Interment will be private.
