Hronn Thornton

Hronn Thornton, 84, of Waukegan, passed away December 23, 2023. She was born December 28, 1938, in Iceland to the late Stefnir Runolfsson and Johanna Medusalemsdottir. Hronn is survived by her loving family, her son, Johann (Izabella) Stefnis; her daughter, Nina Venisnik; one grandson, Drew Venisnik; one brother; six sisters; and many, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Hronn was preceded in death by one brother; and her beloved husband, Howard Thornton. Services and interment are private.
