Herman J. Miller

Herman J. Miller, 79, of Palatine, formerly of Arlington Heights, passed away January 19, 2020, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. He was born July 10, 1940, in Chicago to the late Herman and Florence (O'Brien) Miller. On October 29, 1960, in Chicago, Herman married the love of his life, Patricia M. Murrin. Herman had a great sense of humor, and was beloved by all who knew him and anyone who met him.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Pat Miller; three children, Jeffrey (Debreah) Miller, Dr. James Miller, and Jennifer (David) Brunsman; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Brendan) Martin, Sierra Miller, Kodiak Miller, Kyle Miller, Bryce Miller, Joshua Miller, Jack Brunsman and Joseph Brunsman; one great grandson, Adler Martin; sister-in-law, Darlene Murrin; brother-in-law, Edward (Judy) Murrin; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Sloan, and brother-in-law, Stephen Murrin. The memorial gathering will be held from 10:00am until 10:45am with the memorial mass at 11:00am, Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 434 W.
