Hazel V. Hoffman

Hazel V. Hoffman, 64, passed away October 26, 2022, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born September 21, 1958, in Waynesburg, PA to the late William and Betty (Pyle) Ruse. 

Hazel was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Waukegan. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years at Abbott/Abbvie.

She is survived by her loving son, Jesse Hoffman; two grandsons, Preston "Kage" and Christian "Lou"; her siblings; and many friends that loved her. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Roy Hoffman; and some of her siblings. 

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11am, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2720 N. McAree Road, Waukegan, with Pastor John Shumate officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
