Harriette Mabel Partin

Harriette M. Partin, 91, of Lake Forest, passed away October 29, 2024. She was born October 24, 1933, in Chicago. Harriette was preceded in death by her mother, Emilia. Harriette is survived by her daughter, Rhonda; son, Richard; and granddaughters, Jennifer, Lacey, and Tara. She was a long time resident of Lake Forest. Harriette was a gifted artist even having paintings exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago. Harriette designed and sold jewelry, and she was a lover of books and antiques going to estate sales often with her valued friends. One of her favorite things to do was to have tea parties and celebrate the holidays with friends. Harriette had a deep love for animals. She loved horses, and in her youth she was an accomplished rider. Harriette was never without a dog; she favored Dalmatians and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels always referring to them as her family. The magic she brought to this world will be greatly missed. A graveside service and burial was held at Lake Forest Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, Gurnee, Illinois.
