George Walter Lewis

George Walter Lewis, 69, of Zion, passed away February 9, 2019, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He was born June 10, 1949, in Sandusky, OH to the late Marion George and Emily Irene (Burtscher) Lewis. On February 11, 2003, George married Teresa Olson. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Teresa Lewis of Zion; mother-in-law, Kathryn (Glenn Wasylyk) Kansky of Winnipeg, MB Canada; daughter, Teraya Tomko of Zion; son, Breydon Olson of Zion; sisters, Donna (Bruce) Hedrich of Lake Geneva, WI and Susan (Danny) Jamros of Lockport, IL; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Aubrey) Campbell and Michelle Kansky both of Winnipeg, MB Canada; nine nieces and nephews; five great nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Emmy.
