George J. Etu, Jr.

George J. Etu, Jr., 77, of Waukegan, formerly of Highland Park, passed away December 27, 2021, at Highland Park Hospital. He was born August 19, 1944, in Highland Park to the late George J., Sr. and Aileen (Driscoll) Etu. George loved the Sierra Club, and was a founding member of the Highland Park Chapter. He was a graduate of Lake Forest College and completed graduate studies at the State University of New York. George is survived by his cousins, extended family, and friends. Interment was held at Lake View Cemetery in Calumet, Michigan. Arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, Gurnee, IL.
