Flavio Marin

Flavio Marin, 40, of Mundelein, passed away July 14, 2021. He was born July 24, 1980, in Libertyville. Flavio was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed bike riding. He is survived by his loving family, his father, Guadalupe Andres Marin; three siblings, Claudia (Darrin) Leith, Andy Marin and Mariela (Kevin) Mathers; one niece and three nephews, Julia Leith, Jonathan Marin Soudan, Ryan Leith and Aidan Leith. Flavio was preceded in death by his son, Adrian Anthony Kunkle; brother, Adrian Marin; and his beloved mother, Julia Marin. Visitation is Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 10-11am at Santa Maria del Popolo, 116 N. Lake Street, Mundelein. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 11am at the church with Fr. Ritchie Ortiz officiating. Interment will be private and take place at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville. Arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, Gurnee.
