Edith Mary (Van Heirseele) Bergling, 100, of Waukegan, passed away peacefully at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan. She was born March 11, 1917 in Waukegan to Felix and Leone (DeBrune) Van Heirseele. Edith is survived by her loving twin granddaughters, Tina Thompson and Lisa Richey; son-in-law, Michael Thompson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Bergling; beloved daughter, Charlene Thompson, and 8 brothers and sisters. Services are private. Burial at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Arrangements entrusted to SAMBRANO FUNERAL & CREMATION, Gurnee, IL.
