Dorthea Louise Snow

Dorthea Louise Snow was born on May 28, 1970, in Chicago, IL to the parents of Irvin Snow, Sr. and Georgia Snow from Alabama. She was the sixth child of the Snow children. Dorthea attended Austin High School. She accepted Christ at an early age at Tabernacle M. B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Milton Brinson.

Dorthea loved to study her Bible, sing, play her music, games, and softball. She also loved to cook her famous Mac and Cheese.

Dorthea Snow was called home to glory on August 25, 2022, at 4:56 p.m. She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Snow, Sr.; mother, Georgia Snow; one brother, Tony McClain; one sister, Cynthia McClain, sister-in-law, Sharlene Snow, and her husband, Elton Holman.

Dorthea leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Jamie Snow; three sisters, Rebecca Banks, Angela McClain-Carter, and Evelyn Snow; one brother, Irvin Snow, Jr.; nephews and nieces, Demetrius McClain, Cassaundra Robinson, Taniya McClain, Anthony (Yasuka) Mattix, Christopher Snow, Shanae Snow, Brandon Snow, Cynthia Banks, Ashley Banks, and Irvin Snow, III; nine great nieces; seven great nephews; two great-great nieces and great-great nephews. There is also left a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
