Deliah Ashley Cvengros, daughter of Terry and Annette Cvengros, was born May 24, 1992, in Waukegan, IL at Vista Hospital and currently lived in Winthrop Harbor, IL. She attended school at Laremont in Gages Lake until she was 22 yrs. old, and then enrolled and currently attending Matthias Academy in Bristol, Wi as a pioneer. She was in frat house Kappa Psi and absolutely loved extended education and all her friends and professors at Matthias Academy.
Deliah has had a profound love for Jesus Christ from an early age and loved to sing and have sung to her, “Jesus loves me this I know” and other bible songs. Deliah also self-initiated her line of order in a water baptism service when she was 23 years old by standing up independently from her chair when asked the question “who wants to go first? ” That was a miracle in itself. Deliah loves music and singing, and would do just about anything for someone to sing her one of her favorites. She also loved swimming, swinging, and ice cream (with whipped cream please) She was resilient, has stunning big blue eyes, a contagious smile, and a laugh that made others laugh in the room.
Deliah will most be remembered by an unusual love for the song “It’s a Whole New World” by Aladdin. Throughout the years we think we gained insight on just why she loved it so much.
Deliah was an active member of Agape Gathering Place Church in Waukegan, IL and the daughter of Pastor’s Terry and Annette Cvengros. She will always be cherished by her parents, Terry and Annette Cvengros, sister Seiree (Gavyn) Butwill and soon arriving nephew, brother Aaron Cvengros, grandparents Laurie and Andy Cvengros and John and Rita Stupar, Aunt Mary Jo McDonald (Justin and Briana McDonald), Aunt Gina Stupar (Cody, Isabella, Happy), Uncle Al Chiappetta (Lisa- Sarah, Adam, Lynnette) and Aunt Frannie Stupar (Jerry- Jerry Jr, Philip, Mandy) and so many others.
A Celebration of her life will be held this Sunday, March 12, service at 6:00pm, at Christian Assembly of God, 2929 Bethel Blvd, Zion, IL, visitation from 3:00-6:00pm.
