David Paulson

David Paulson, 86, of Waukegan, passed away September 5, 2024, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He was born November 16, 1937, in Waukegan, IL to the late Gerry and Helen (Baste) Paulson. On July 8, 1955, in Waukegan, Dave married Joan Morris. Dave is survived by his loving family, three children, John, Sr. (Robin) Paulson, Cathy Paulson, and Robert Paulson; five grandchildren, Chad (Jessica) Paulson, John, Jr. (Kori) Paulson, Erik Paulson, David Pratt, and Robyn (Nick McCready) Paulson; four great grandchildren, Taylor (Marshall) Sandretto, Kaden Paulson, Carter Paulson, and Mason Pratt; sisters, Helen Carbone and Donna Lee Graham; sisters-in-law, Linda McPherson, Dee Christian, and Carol Paulson; a special niece, Kathleen (Joe) Chalker, and many more nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Joan Paulson; brothers, John (Pat) Paulson, Ron Paulson, and Fred Paulson; brothers-in-law, Guy Carbone, Jim Christian and Joe McPherson. Services are private. Interment at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Save-A-Pet, 31664 N. Fairfield Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
