Clarence Arthur Lindsay, 97, of Lake Forest, passed away peacefully July 9, 2021, at Thrive of Lake County in Mundelein. He was born December 24, 1923, in Jacksonville, IL to the late Arthur J. and Mary A. (Ward) Lindsay. On June 16, 1965, in Chicago, Clarence married the love of his life, Shirley Lou Bruhn. Clarence graduated 8th Grade at Sagamon Public Schools in 1938, Jacksonville High School in 1942, and Northwestern University on June 18, 1947. He was head of the legal department for the airlines for many years. Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley Lindsay. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his two sisters, Maybil (the late Dan) Embody and Lillian M. Lindsay. A memorial service is pending.
