Burl Mason, Jr., 58, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, at University of Chicago Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1960, in Chicago to the late Burl, Sr. and Adele (Butera) Mason. He is survived by his brother, Tom (Kim) Mason; sister, Sandy Mason; niece and nephews, Nichlos, Austin, Kaylee and Jonathan Mason; great nieces, Danyelle and Destiny Mason; aunts, Marilyn Mason and Evelyn Butera; uncle, Joe Butera; cousins, Lori, Bob, Pat, Donna, John, Lisa and Mike. In addition to his parents, Burl was preceded in death by his uncle, Anthony Butera; aunts, Connie Charnota, Mary McQuade, and cousin, Debra. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
