Betty Lou Manders

Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Manders, 94, of Gurnee, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born on February 16, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI to the late James and Cecilia (Kuppe) Thiel. Betty Lou is survived by her four children, John, Jr. (Cindy) Manders, James (Barbara Graham) Manders, Jeffrey (Beth) Manders, and Jane Zahn; one brother, James (Kathy) Thiel; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and nine nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty Lou was preceded in death by one grandson; one brother, Francis Thiel; and two sisters, Maxine Azzolina and her twin sister, Betty Jane Meier.
