Betty June Belue

Betty June Belue, 67, of Winthrop Harbor, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born September 11, 1952, in Chicago. Betty is survived by her loving family; her children, David (Chris) McCabe, Jr., Ronnie (Melinda) McCabe, and Linda (Mike) Medel; brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Karen Melesio, Jr.; grandchildren, Crystal (Lee) Tuazon, Elizabeth McCabe, Jessica (Zach) Hazelrigg, Mateo Benjamin McCabe, Caia Mariana McCabe, Nadia Isabela McCabe, Matthew Medel, Samantha Medel, Justin (Liz) Tuazon, Melissa White, and Alex Perales; great grandchildren, Kristopher Thomas Hanna, Stan-Lee Tuazon, Aria Starla Hazelrigg, Nova Aracelli Hazelrigg, Persephone Kay Lund, and Olivia Nicole Tuazon; nieces and nephew, Frankie (Tina) Barajas, Rosemary Barajas, Delores Melesio, and Sabrina Melesio; and many more extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Martin and Betty June (Carley) Melesio, Sr.; sister, Linda Harris; and nephew, Benjamin Melesio, III. Betty enjoyed playing BINGO, reading, baking, and loved animals. A celebration of life for Betty will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, at the Community Center, 1520 7th Street, Winthrop Harbor, IL.
