Antonio Cardona

Antonio Cardona, 80, of Waukegan, passed away peacefully April 21, 2024. He was born November 28, 1943, in Colombia. Antonio moved to the United States during the seventies. He was a skilled mechanic and worked at several companies in Illinois, Wisconsin, and other states.

Antonio is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Adriana and John Gibby; and grandson, Gabriel Gibby.

Antonio had an adventurous spirit. He always enjoyed good Colombian food, coffee, desserts, and the company of his relatives. He enjoyed his bike rides and found pleasure in life.

A celebration of life mass will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10am, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 508 Grand Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
