Ruth Irene Lejsek

Ruth Irene Lejsek, 93, resided in Wildwood, IL, formerly of Forsyth, MO, passed away peacefully March 19, 2019, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born April 17, 1925, in Chicago, IL to the late Earl Francis and Irene (Brindise) Kawell. Ruth is survived by her two sisters, Ella Jane Wilson and Diane Petlak; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Lejsek, whom she married in 1959; and two brothers, Earl Stanley Kawell and Robert Jerome Kawell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 3:00 pm with visitation from 2:30 pm until service time at 3:00 pm, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 29700 N. St. Marys Rd., Green Oaks, IL with Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Burial will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 10:00 am, at Snapp Cemetery in Forsyth, MO (please meet at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home, 16560 US Hwy 160, Forsyth, MO, on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 9:30 am; we will then process to the cemetery for the burial at 10:00 am).
