Ms. Mariah Harper Obituary

Ms. Mariah Harper was born on March 11, 1944, in Hinds County to the late George Albert and Gertrude Carr Harper. Mariah accepted Christ at an early age at St. Thomas M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. R.W. West. She graduated from Sumner Hill School in Clinton, Mississippi. Mariah attended Lemoyne-Owens College in Memphis, TN. She was a Supervisor at Oneac Corporation in Libertyville, Il, where she later retired.

On May 28, 2019, Mariah peacefully transitioned unto the Lord in Highland Park, IL. Local funeral arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, 4606 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, IL 60031.

Visitation hours: Friday, June 7, 2019, from 12-7 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home, 886 N. Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39202.

Funeral service: Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St Thomas M.B. Church, 4699 St. Thomas Road, Bolton, Mississippi.

Interment: St Thomas Memorial Garden - Bolton, Mississippi
