Ian Wilson

Ian J. Wilson, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 13, 2018 in Antioch. He was born on August 18, 1980 in Waukegan. Ian was the owner and operator of Wilson Automotive in Fox Lake. He is survived by his two sons, Christian Wilson and Nicholas Wilson; mother, Sue Wilson; father, James Mackey; maternal grandfather, Flavio (Jean) Gomez; step-paternal grandmother, Phyllis Keun; sister, Jessica Mackey; brother, Clark Mackey; aunts, Margaret (Logan) Belton and Sandra Mackey; uncle, John Gomez; cousin, Danielle (Jason) Pollard Guszak, their four children, and many other cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Cherrie; aunts, Linda Clayton and Marcella Hale. Visitation is Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 4-8pm at Hamsher Lakeside Funerals and Cremations, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. Funeral services are Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11am with visitation starting at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Millburn Cemetery, Old Mill Creek, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ian's memory for his two sons, in care of his mother, Susan Wilson.
