He was born on April 10, 1935 in Waukegan to the late Eugene and Julia (Smith) O’Connor. Mike was the very proud owner of Chem-Rite Products in Waukegan until he sold the business in 2005. He was lucky enough to have three sisters-in-law, Carol Petranek and her late husband Stephen; the late Sandra Ditzig and her husband Michael; and Jean (Terry) Butz; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mike is preceded in death by his parents. Stephen stepped out in 2008 to go fishing with the Lord and Sandy took her place with Jesus in 2012 as a baker. And now Mike has joined them as the Golf Pro.
