Arlene Theresa Kuffel, 76, of Waukegan, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born September 8, 1942 in Chicago to the late Howard and Florence (Grabowski) Strack. On June 9, 1969 in Chicago, Arlene married Edward John Kuffel who passed away in September, 1997. Arlene is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Theresa (Richard Wenc) Kuffel; grandchildren, Laura Arlene Wenc, Anthony Lee Quentere, and Alyssa Theresa Kuffel; great granddaughter, Emily Alyssa Hernandez Wenc, and extended family, Tammy McCoy. In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Michelle Arlene Kuffel; sisters, Carole Glatt, Mary Ann Hunter, and brother, Donald Strack. Services and interment are private. Arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, Gurnee; 847-571-7719.
