Arlene (Senter) Hasty

Arlene (Senter) Hasty 66, of Gurnee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2018, at home with her family by her side. She was born September 22, 1951 to the late Archie and Ardell (Pearson) Senter. On June 24, 1972 at First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church in North Chicago, Arlene married the love of her life, Samuel C. Hasty, Jr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her loving, devoted husband of 46 years, Samuel C. Hasty, Jr.; her daughter, Jocelyn A. Ross; grandchildren, Kaiden K. Ross and Kolby L. Ross; her mother's twin sister, Guynell Long; sisters, Jean (Eugene) Jones, Sherhonda (Michael) Jackson, and Bridgett Cler; special cousins, Yvonne (Dan) Evans, (and Yvonne's children, William Crenshaw, Laurel Crenshaw and Miracle Evans-Nettles), Tracie (Vince) Allen, Gary (Doris) Whyte, Otis Whyte, and a host of many other cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11am at First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 1529 Elizabeth Ave., North Chicago with Rev. Eugene Roberson officiating. Burial to follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sambrano Funeral & Cremation, Gurnee.
